A place to work, study and meet remarkable locals

Entrepreneurs, freelancers, city hall staff, architects, city councillors, self-employed locals, remote workers, university students and high school students. You'll meet plenty of people with wonderful quirks, the kind the world might call “a bit odd.”

“I quit my job and now I fly hot-air balloons!” Wouldn't it be fun to bump into someone like that on your way home from school?

A Day at INLIGHT

6:00 An early start, ahead of everyone else

Monthly members unlock the door with a smart key on their phone. This hour is for people who want to work or study early in the morning. (Cafes and libraries aren't open yet, after all.)

9:00 Staff arrive

Freelancers and remote workers come in with a “Good morning!” A bit of small talk, bags down, laptops open. It feels like a morning at the office.

10:00 Drop-in opens

Some people are in Kazo for meetings with city hall or local companies. Others rush in asking “Can I take a video call here?” During the day, most visitors are business people.

12:00 Lunchtime

Everyone heats up their own lunch in the microwave. When schedules line up, we all go out to eat together. People get closer over a meal than over work.

14:00 The cafe opens on the 1st floor

The sleepy hour. Some members head down to KAZOMA, the cafe on the 1st floor, for a coffee. The staff know them, and a quick chat makes a nice change of pace.

16:00 High school students arrive

High school students come to study after class. The university students here major in tourism, career design, drones, AI and more. It's a different world from ten years ago.

18:00 Drop-in closes

The daytime crowd heads home, and some people arrive for the evening. More and more people work their main job by day and take on a side job or study for a certification at night.

19:00 Events (occasional)

Held on the 1st or 2nd floor. People who work elsewhere during the day join too, and new connections are made.

22:00 ClosedSee you tomorrow.

Can you picture it? Tours are free.
